Kasoco's 2nd edition of shooting HIV-AIDS out of Ntonda Print E-mail

KASOCO’S  2ND EDITION OF SHOOTING HIV-AIDS OUT OF NTONDA NETBALL AND FOOTBALL LEAGUE BRINGS POSITIVE IMPACT IN THE FIGHT AGAINST HIV-AIDS IN NTCHEU SOUTH

The youth empowerment project for the fight against HIV and AIDS in Ntcheu South (TA Phambala and STA Tsikulamowa) being implemented by KASOCO is making positive impact.  This was affirmed by Samson Kankondo, Kasoco´s Youth Development Coordinator and Mr. Bingalasone, Kapeni Health Centre Community Surveillance Officer, at the closing ceremony of the 2nd edition of Kasoco’s Shooting HIV-AIDS out of Ntonda Netball and Football League held at Ntonda F.P. School on Saturday 28 April 2007.

The closing ceremony was attended by more than 20,000 people.  TA Phambala, Group Village Headmen Kam’mwamba, Bwense and Hauya also attended.  It marked the climax of the 2nd edition of the league.  Read more
